Features include: Long-distance communication due to its high RX sensitivity, real time clock, UART, SPI and USB interfaces available to various applications. FCC, IC, CE, RoHS, and ZigBee compliant ISM 2.4GHz band module. Operating temperature range: - 40~+85°C, Three types of models: With/without antenna, or U.FL connector are provided both with software adjustable transmitter power and various low energy consumption modes. Easy to use AT Command interface. Field upgradeable firmware.

nBee BR-ZB-2A is a standalone solution and requires no firmware. Custom client applications can be written directly onto the nBee, which supports both analog and digital peripherals, eliminating the need for a second costly microprocessor. Alternately, the BR-ZB-2A can be integrated into an existing design as a HCI network processor device, with a host processor running the core application and the BR-ZB-2A providing ZigBee communication.
